“Feather Brushes?”

I recently conducted an experiment and constructed a couple of feather brushes. This has been on my mind for almost a year after one of my NC friends near my marsh studio gave me a bunch of duck feathers foraged from some game he had harvested during hunting season. I made two brushes using those local NC pintail duck feathers and the bamboo located along the “Outfall Canal” near Mattamuskeet Lake. Here are the brushes and a resulting piece of ink work.
